"OK, I wanted to wait a bit before making any comments in order to let things sink in. Thought for sure I would be able to find something I was not totally satisfied with. I have to admit, I can’t think of anything. My many visits, countless questions and few phone calls prior to purchasing my new Street Glide where all handled with comfortable professionalism. Never once did I feel pressured, bamboozled, tricked, fooled or lied to. The whole process, from day one (to the ride home) was a feeling unlike any other motorcycle purchase I have gone through in 25 years of ridding. Furthermore, in my quest to find something I was not 100% satisfied with, and a couple trips back for some wanted essentials, has continued to be a very pleasurable experience. "I purchased a 105th Anniversary Edition Ultra Classic from Bayside in October of 2008. the buying experience was very pleasant. The sales manager took the time to answer all of my questions when comparing 2 different bikes, and helped me make my decision based upon my wants and needs. Dan, my salesman, went over every detail about the bike, and was very knowledgeable. My experience with the business manager was very positive as well. He showed me my options regarding the purchase and maintenance plans with no pressure, and respected my decisions. "I would find it hard to believe that there is a service department that could compete in any way with Bayside's. As my job causes me to travel extensivily my ability to have work done is very limited and hard to schedule. All of the crew in the service department have been exceptional going above and beyond the customer service call to duty. I wish I could remember all of the names of those I have dealt with, so I could name each and every one, sorry guys. I'm sure Don Ramos could fill in the blanks as to who has worked on my bike. "I have been in sales and sales management for over 18 years. I know how had it is to get everyone on board with outstanding customer service. It was worth the 115.6 mile druve down from Richmond to Bayside. "I recently visited Bayside to have a flat fixed on my wide glide I purchased from them in 05. I went to nags head the same day and to my surprise the next morning my tire was flat again. Upon inspecting the tire I saw no nail so I figured there must have been something wrong with the fix. I called Don in the service department and he offered something that blew my mind. He said that someone from the Kitty Hawk location would come to my cottage, pick up the bike, provide me with a rental, and have someone bring my bike back to portsmouth. He made a life long customer with that "over the top" level of service. Thank you to Don and the entire staff of bayside harley!!"
